    Thanks for sharing your story, Truls!

    Perhaps it’s already there in your article, but I still wonder – how long time should it take for NCA to recover their initial investment in new search technology, in terms of increased efficiency and the amount of money they collect? Is 12 months a reasonable guesstimate?

    From what I’ve heard that is a bit on the long side – they did it in less than 10 months!

    An impressive team, great partners (Comperio) and rock solid technology (FAST) always does the trick!

    I’m sure that everybody involved in the project appreciate your kind words.

    FAST provides a versatile technology platform, but I don’t believe that technology alone can make a project successful. It’s the integration of business needs, user needs and technological potential that enables great user experiences. For this you need information architects and interaction designers, who master the skills required to collect and apply domain-specific knowledge. Choice of vendor (FAST, Autonomy, Endeca, Lucene) matters less.
